HISTORY OF AZ KLIMA
Since our inception in 1992, the annual revenue reached $42m and number of employees 250.
1992 | AZ KLIMA was founded as a limited company by Ing. Miroslav Čížek. The company focused on design of HVAC projects. | |
1994 | AZ KLIMA merged with “Potrubí Milovice, s. r. o.“ with Mr. Jánský – its shareholder and managing director – becoming the second shareholder of AZ KLIMA. As a result AZ KLIMA became a major producer of ductwork and accessories. | |
1995 | AZ KLIMA started with large turnkey solutions. | |
1996 | A beginning of computer aided manufacturing with the purchase of plasma cutter brought a significant qualitative leap in manufacturing technology of ductwork and accessories. | |
1999 | First own-designed air handling unit entered into production, first export activities (to Germany). | |
2000 | ||
2001 | Manufacturing process was certified according to ISO9002. | |
2002 | AZ KLIMA started to work on the project for TPCA Kolín – the largest project of AZ KLIMA funded by a foreign investor ($20m) | |
2003 | The headquarters moved into a reconstructed building at the present address – Tilhonova 59, Brno. The company became ISO9001 certified. | |
2004 | AZ KLIMA started to work on the project for KIA in Žilina, Slovakia ($15m). The company earned the ISO14001 certification. | |
2005 | OHSAS18001 certification is earned and a new warehouse facilities and parking in Milovice constructed. | |
2006 | A daughter company AZ KLIMA PL Sp. z o. o. is established in Poland. | |
2008 | An administrative building in Milovice was reconstructed and the revenues and number of employees decreased by 40% as a result of the onset of economic crisis. | |
2009 | Adjustments in AZ KLIMA’s targeting was made and a new 5-year business plan launched that contained among others closing of the Polish daughter company. | |
2010 | First year of the new business plan ended with a revenue growth and profitability meeting the targets. The company was re-certified in accordance with ISO9001, ČSN ISO14001 and OHSAS18001. | |
2011 | Genesis Capital fund acquired 66% of AZ KLIMA’s shares. | |
2012 | AZ KLIMA transformed from a limited company to a joint-stock company. | |
2014 | A new manufacturing technology for increased capacity was purchased. | |
2014 | Liquidation of AZ KLIMA PL, Sp. z o. o. | |
2014 | Change in management of Milovice production plant | |
2014 | Purchase of Trumpf TruPunch 3000 technology with support from OPPI program | |
2014 | Implementation of “lean manufacturing” system in Milovice | |
2015 | Establishment of AZ VENT s.r.o. (100% subsidary of AZ KLIMA) | |
2016 | 30.9.2016 change of shareholder, ČEZ ESCO, a.s. Company ID: 03592880 became 100% owner | |
